How cute are these? A little messy to eat but an awesome alternative to both beef burgers and buns.
1 pound of organic ground turkey
2/3 cup of feta cheese
2/3 cup of chopped onion
2 tomato slices
A handful of spinach
8 tbs hummus (I used roasted red pepper)
4 peppers (you choice of color)
1 tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- In a large mixingbowl, combine ground turkey, avocado, feta cheese and onions , shape mixture into 4 patties
- Set stove to medium high and add patties and olive oil to pan and cook for about 15 minutes
- Meanwhile, cut peppers in half and then add tomato and spinach on top of the bottom halves of the pepper
- Once the patties are cooked, add on the top of the tomato, add hummus on top of the patty and complete with the top of the pepper!
- Enjoy and get messy!
